Official tourism information lists Kadmat, Kavaratti and Minicoy for diving packages. That is a starting point for an enquiry, not evidence that every session is available today. Confirm the current centre, activity format and dates directly through the booking process.

New to diving?

Tell us you are enquiring as a beginner. Ask the qualified operator about the type of introductory session, supervision, eligibility, screening and what happens if you decide not to continue. Let that operator explain the safety requirements for you.

Snorkelling may be another experience to discuss, but it also needs suitable conditions and appropriate supervision. Do not choose a session only on price.

Already certified?

Share your certification level, recent experience and whether you need equipment. Request the dive plan, operator requirements, guide arrangement and what is included in the quote. If diving is your main reason for travelling, confirm it before finalising the accommodation and flights.

What to ask before booking

• Who operates and supervises the session?
• What training, screening and documents are needed?
• Is equipment included, and what should I bring?
• What conditions can lead to postponement or cancellation?
• What are the payment and refund terms?
• How must my flight timing fit the operator’s post-dive guidance?

Keep the reef experience responsible

Follow the guide, keep your distance from marine life and avoid touching coral. Ask before using underwater camera equipment if it will distract from the briefing or supervision. Marine sightings are never guaranteed.
