Ask about locally operated snorkelling, lagoon outings and diving sessions. Minicoy appears in official diving-package information, but the exact operator, equipment and departure must be confirmed for your visit. If diving is the purpose of your trip, settle those details before choosing your transport.

Discuss whether your trip is a shore visit from a ship or an island stay. Those are very different holidays. For a stay, request the actual accommodation name, room type, meal plan and distance from arrival point before booking; this page does not promise a particular cottage or resort.

What is not automatically included
Mainland and island flights, ship fares, additional boat journeys, scuba or other optional sports, equipment hire, personal spending, extra meals and taxes must be checked in the quotation. Read the cancellation and weather-change terms before paying.
Entry permits
Visitor eligibility and a valid permit must match the proposed island and travel dates. We can assist with the process, but approval is the authority’s decision. Read our current permit guide before making commitments.
How to reach Minicoy
Minicoy lies away from the northern island group. Start with a confirmed ship or package itinerary and check both arrival and return arrangements. Do not assume an Agatti arrival includes a convenient connection to Minicoy. We will work through the transfer chain before recommending flights.
Best time to visit
October to March is the Administration’s general recommendation for Lakshadweep. That is a planning window, not a promise of sea conditions or operating services. Check the season guide and confirm your exact route.

Is Minicoy the same kind of trip as Kadmat?
No. The transfer pattern and island character are different. Choose Minicoy for cultural interest and lagoon time; compare the actual transport and accommodation before choosing between them.
Can I visit the lighthouse?
Ask us to check the local opening and permission arrangements for your dates. Lighthouse access is not guaranteed in every itinerary.
Does the quote include the ship ticket and the stay?
It can, but only when your written quote says so. Ask for the transport, stay, meals and other services to be itemised separately.
