Entry permits
Visitor eligibility and a valid permit must match the proposed island and travel dates. We can assist with the process, but approval is the authority’s decision. Read our current permit guide before making commitments.

Kalpeni is listed on official ship-based tourism itineraries. Check the published departure, time ashore and return port for your chosen dates. There is no promise of a same-day connection from Agatti in our suggested plan; the route must be established before booking mainland travel.
Best time to visit
October to March is the Administration’s general recommendation for Lakshadweep. That is a planning window, not a promise of sea conditions or operating services. Check the season guide and confirm your exact route.

Can I combine Kalpeni and Minicoy?
Some official ship itineraries list both islands. We must check the current programme and availability; they are not a freely interchangeable transfer pair.
